Reviews [click links to read more]:

“Body fluids of every description, vomit-filled toilet bowls, bloodstained tampons and condoms plus talking vagina dentata and absurd prosthetic penises all vie for comedy space amidst the zombie mayhem of this one. Despite all that, this one feels a lot too amateurish for much of it to work, and there are plenty of opportunities for comedy that are sadly missed.” House of Mortal Cinema

“The production values are brilliant for a film this low budget, and its energy is – like the monsters on screen – infectious. It doesn’t quite hit the mark as highly as something like Peter Jackson’s Dead Alive, or even Eli Roth’s Cabin Fever (both of which it is reminiscent of at times). But if you’re a fan of either of those films, you’ll have a good time…” Scream magazine

” …this film continually surprised me by zigging when you think it’s going to zag. The film pays homage to some of the classics all the while creating something new. For instance, the hotel turns out to be something wholly unexpected, because hey, why the heck not? To top it off, we get a shockingly awesome hero with some hilariously badass one-liners.” Geeks of Doom

“From the visual gags to the instantly quotable one-liners, Night of Something Strange is extremely fun and hilarious if it’s your brand of humor. Furthermore, when the humor bleeds (literally or figuratively) into the FX side of the film…” Fangoria

Night of Something Strange has little aspiration to be anything but vulgar, disgusting and amusing, and it does succeed there – but your tolerance for almost offensively basic characters, stilted acting and sexual assault as comedy will need to be high if you’re going to have fun with the degenerate onslaught it presents.” Dread Central

“As the zombies mutate even further later in the flick, their genitalia transforming into lethal weapons, they become reminiscent of the ‘sickos’ in Robert Rodriguez’s Grindhouse segment, Planet Terror, and, along with the laughs and outlandish action, the film even manages to pack in some well-crafted scares and some intense sequences.” UK Horror Scene
